Description
Juicy, tender chicken burgers made with ground chicken, Italian breadcrumbs, a touch of mayonnaise, onions, parsley, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Quick to prep, easy to cook, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced onions
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon avocado oil, for cooking
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Lettuce, tomato, and red onions, for serving
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, add ground chicken, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, onions, parsley, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently mix with your hands until just combined.
2. Divide and form into 4 patties about 3/4 inch thick. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
3. Preheat a nonstick square grill pan over medium heat. Add avocado oil to lightly coat the surface.
4. Place patties on the hot pan. Cook 5 to 6 minutes until the bottoms are golden. Flip and cook 5 to 6 minutes more.
5. Check with a digital thermometer. The internal temperature must reach 165°F. Reduce heat if browning too fast and continue until fully cooked.
6. Rest patties 1 minute. Assemble on toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, and red onion, then serve.

Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezing: Freeze patties before or after cooking for up to 3 months. Separate with parchment. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
Reheat: Warm gently on the stovetop over medium low heat or in the microwave.
Grilling method: Preheat grill to medium high and oil grates. Grill about 10 minutes total, flipping halfway, until 165°F.
