Description

A quick and flavorful buffalo chicken sauce recipe with the perfect balance of spicy, tangy, and buttery notes. Ideal for wings, sandwiches, dips, or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

½ cup cayenne pepper hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot or any alcohol-free, certified option)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (or vegan butter for plant-based)

2½ tablespoons honey (or agave nectar for vegan)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, stir together the hot sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed for sweetness or heat.

3. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For a vegan version, replace butter with vegan butter and honey with agave nectar.

If the sauce separates when stored, whisk or reheat gently on the stovetop to blend it back together.
