Ingredients
Iceberg lettuce, shredded, one large head
Cooked chicken breast, chopped into bite size pieces, three cups
Turkey bacon slices using Applegate Naturals Turkey Bacon, Butterball Turkey Bacon, or Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon
Large eggs
Ripe tomatoes, seeded and diced
Avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced
Green onions, finely chopped
Blue cheese crumbles using Cabot Creamery Blue Cheese or Tillamook Blue Cheese
Ranch style salad dressing
Fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover completely with cold water
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat then cover and remove from heat
3. Let the eggs rest in the hot water until fully set
4. Cool the eggs in cold water then peel and chop
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crisp
6. Transfer the turkey bacon to paper towels and crumble once cooled
7. Wash and thoroughly dry the lettuce then shred into thin pieces
8. Prepare the vegetables by chopping tomatoes, avocado, and green onions
9. Arrange the lettuce on plates or a large serving platter
10. Lay the chicken, turkey bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cheese, green onions, and avocado in neat rows
11. Drizzle with ranch style dressing or serve it on the side
12. Finish with freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately
