Ingredients
One pound Jennie O Italian Style Turkey Sausage or Aidells Italian Style Beef Sausage
One cup carrots finely chopped
One small yellow onion chopped
Three cloves garlic minced
One tablespoon Italian seasoning
One quarter cup all purpose flour
Six cups chicken broth
One six ounce can tomato paste
One cup heavy cream
One nine ounce package Rana Three Cheese Tortellini
Three cups kale chopped and stems removed
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Optional olive oil for cooking
Instructions
Heat a large heavy bottom pot over medium high heat and add the sausage
Cook while breaking it apart until fully browned and flavorful
Transfer the cooked sausage to a plate and set aside
Add carrots and onion to the same pot and sauté until soft and translucent
Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning and cook until fragrant
Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir until evenly coated

Mix in tomato paste until fully dissolved
