Ingredients

2 chicken breasts (8 ounces each)

¼ cup shredded Cheddar (not grated)

1 cup Italian style bread crumbs

2 eggs, whisked

½ cup marinara sauce

½ cup mozzarella cheese


Instructions

1. Set temperature on air fryer to 360°F and preheat for 3 minutes.

2. Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise and trim.

3. Pound the chicken pieces to even thickness.

4. Mix bread crumbs and shredded Cheddar in a bowl.

5. Whisk the eggs in another bowl.

6. Dip each chicken piece in egg, then dredge in breadcrumb mixture.

7. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

8. Cook for 6 minutes.

9. Flip chicken, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella.

10. Air fry for an additional 3–4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

11. Repeat with remaining chicken if needed.
