Description

Easy Creamy Garlic Chicken Breast One Pan is a rich and comforting skillet dinner made with tender chicken breasts cooked in a smooth garlic cream sauce. This recipe is designed for busy home cooks who want maximum flavor with minimal cleanup. Everything comes together in one pan, creating a satisfying meal that feels indulgent yet simple enough for weeknight cooking.

Ingredients

Thin cut chicken breasts

All purpose flour for light coating

Fine salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Olive oil

Unsalted butter

Fresh garlic cloves smashed

Chicken broth

Heavy cream

Italian seasoning blend

Fresh parsley optional for garnish

Instructions

1. Season the chicken breasts evenly with salt and pepper on both sides

2. Lightly coat the chicken with flour and gently shake off any excess

3. Heat olive oil and part of the butter in a large skillet until hot

4. Place chicken in the pan and cook until golden on both sides then remove and keep warm

5. Lower the heat and melt the remaining butter in the same pan

6. Add smashed garlic cloves and cook gently until lightly golden and fragrant

7. Stir in remaining flour until fully absorbed into the butter

8. Slowly whisk in chicken broth followed by heavy cream until smooth

9. Add Italian seasoning and allow the sauce to simmer until slightly thickened

10. Return chicken and any juices to the pan and spoon sauce over the top

11. Cook briefly until chicken is fully done and sauce is silky

12. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired

Notes

Use thin cut chicken breasts to ensure even cooking and tenderness

Keep the heat moderate when cooking garlic to avoid bitterness

If the sauce thickens too much add a small splash of chicken broth

For best texture reheat leftovers gently over low heat

This dish is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored refrigerated for several days
