Description

A quick and flavorful Honey Garlic Salmon with Green Beans dinner made with a sweet lemon garlic glaze and buttery vegetables. This dish comes together fast and delivers tender salmon with bright citrus and crisp green beans.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon alcohol free soy sauce alternative such as Coconut Secret Coconut Aminos or Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce Alcohol Free

2 cloves garlic minced

1 lemon halved

2 packages SteamReady Green Beans twelve ounces each

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1.

2. Position broiler rack four to six inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and place salmon skin side down.

3. Whisk honey, alcohol free soy sauce, garlic, and two teaspoons of lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside the squeezed lemon half.

4. Brush half the honey mixture over the salmon and season with salt and pepper. Broil for seven to ten minutes, brushing with the remaining mixture halfway through.

5. Steam green beans according to package directions then toss with butter, salt, and pepper. Squeeze the remaining lemon juice over the beans.

6. Slice the leftover lemon half into wedges. Serve salmon with green beans and lemon wedges.

7.

Notes

Monitor the salmon closely while broiling since honey caramelizes quickly.

SteamReady beans offer convenience, but fresh beans can be used if preferred.

Rotate the baking sheet halfway through broiling for even browning.

This glaze also works well with chicken or shrimp for a similar quick dinner.
