Description

Maple Honey Garlic Salmon is a sweet and savory baked salmon dish made with maple syrup, garlic, pepper, and alcohol free soy sauce, producing a tender and flavorful result.


Ingredients

1 pound salmon

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons alcohol free soy sauce such as Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce, San J Asian Style Soy Sauce, or Bragg Liquid Aminos

1 clove garlic minced

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper


Instructions

1. Combine maple syrup alcohol free soy sauce minced garlic garlic salt and pepper in a bowl.

2. Cut salmon into four fillets and place in a shallow baking dish.

3. Coat the salmon with the maple garlic mixture then cover and marinate for 30 minutes turning once.

4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

5. Bake the salmon uncovered for about 20 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.

6. Serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh or fully thawed salmon for best texture.

Do not overbake the salmon to maintain tenderness.

Let the salmon rest a few minutes before serving to allow juices to settle.
